The observing self is a unique human ability that rarely gets talked about. No other creature (as far as we can tell) can reflect on reality and its own place within that reality like a human can.

In this video I talk a bit more about this and I’ll also share some psychotherapy techniques you can use to encourage the use of the observing self for the benefit of your therapy clients.
